Charlie Musgrove

Teacher Training Co-ordinator & Yoga Teacher Trainer

Charlie has been teaching yoga since 2010, and completed her 200hr and 300hr training with Laura Gilmore. Her practice was originally rooted in Ashtanga yoga and she found this dynamic practice calmed her physical, mental and emotional body.

Since starting her yoga practice in 2004, Charlie has explored and trained in numerous yoga traditions including Vinyasa yoga, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, Pregnancy yoga, Postnatal yoga and Yoga for Mental Health. She has experience of teaching community classes as well as classes for drug rehabilitation users at HMP Eastwood Park. More recently her work has focused on pregnancy yoga and postnatal mum and baby yoga, to support women in having an empowered pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

Along side her teaching Charlie also works at the School as the Teacher Training Coordinator. She works closely with Laura and the other teacher trainers to ensure the School’s courses are delivered to a high standard.

You can expect to hear from her if you’ve enrolled on one of our courses or you are considering training as a yoga teacher. Her warmth, support and friendliness will help guide you to make the right choice for yourself. As a yoga teacher, Charlie loves to see her students practice and knowledge of yoga blossom and evolve. She feels yoga can provide so many benefits of a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level that introducing someone to yoga and being part of their yogic journey is a true gift.

“We don’t need to work gently or be serious to be mindful or trauma sensitive. In fact, if we approach our practice with an equal sense of reverence, humility and humour, we often find that we’re able to work harder than we thought possible. When we feel, we transform our state of mind, our consciousness. We become alive to ourselves and to life. The miracle of the ordinary!”
