This signature practice weaves together an exploration of body, breath and movement, through a supportive range of stillness, flow and restorative.
An encouraging practice of self regulation, blending softness and strength to support the body’s natural rhythm. Through carefully curated asana and breath techniques.
With deep respect for the lineage of this practice, we honour its teachings as a foundation of self inquiry.
As the winter months start to settle in, the end of this practice invites you to embrace the nurture of a slightly extended rest invitation. With props — cushions, blankets, bolsters to support you.

Slow Flow brings together the practices of flow yoga, somatics and yin. Class is a deep slow flow to beautiful music, where we take time to listen, feel and be with full awareness of movement, breath and pause. Wonderful for unraveling stress and tension, whilst also exploring some of the deeper underlying philosophies of Yoga. Elena guides somatically - an approach that gives more space to welcome you at whichever level you're at.
You can expect a restorative feel to this practice; lingering longer in holds, before settling into yin postures, and ending with a mini soundbath to allow the nervous system to fully integrate. Elena often introduces mantra, mudra and bits of wisdom gathered from over a decade of teaching.

This practice is an unhurried blend of yin and restorative yoga. A slow and purposeful space designed to ease you gently toward rest. We nestle into longer-held, supported shapes as gravity gets to work. This gentle unraveling intends to soften the edges of your day and take the weight of things like busyness, burnout and anxiety.
Inspired by the wisdom of Yogic and Taoist traditions, as well as the cyclical nature of all things, this is a grounded approach to mindful breathing and being. Attuning to the quiet intelligence of the body through fascia, fluid and subtle rhythm- each session is a reflective ritual of return. All levels welcome.

Join me for a thoughtfully crafted class that honours both sides of your practice, dynamic movement and deep restoration.
We'll begin with vinyasa flow, where you'll move with your breath through sequences designed to build strength, increase flexibility, and create space in your body.
This is your chance to shake off the day, blow off steam, and channel energy in a way that feels good. Whether you're working through tension or simply craving movement, the flow portion gives you permission to sweat, stretch, and reset.
Then we'll transition into rest, a guided relaxation practice (yoga nidra) that allows your nervous system to completely unwind. This isn't just lying down; it's an invitation to experience profound stillness, giving your body and mind the space to process, integrate, and genuinely let go. In our always-on world, this kind of deep rest is revolutionary self-care.
Together, the yang to yin create the perfect balance. You'll leave feeling both energised and restored, better equipped to handle whatever life throws your way.
With 10 years of teaching experience, I bring a professional yet down-to-earth approach to the mat. I'll guide you skillfully while keeping things real, approachable, and often sprinkled with laughter. You'll feel welcomed exactly as you are, whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years. My classes are a judgment-free space where you can learn, grow, and most importantly, feel at home.
Come as you are. Move, breathe, and rest with intention.
Bristol School of Yoga is a warm, bright and welcoming space. Fully kitted out with plenty of yoga equipment that you don't need to bring anything along if you don't want to / don't have anything.

Studio 16 | All levels Welcome
Pilates helps to build intrinsic stable strength. Hannah works with everything from rehab and injury recovery to pre- and post-natal training, sport-specific strength, and helping people grow confidence with strength training.
She has so much deep respect for the Classical Pilates principles and bases her classes around this, with some creative twists and dynamic flows which are energising but also deeply grounding.
Pilates is not only a nice opportunity to build stability and strength but also a chance to come back to our bodies and move in a way that brings us into that ‘rest and digest’ state. With breath work and some flowy movements, her classes are like a whole body refresh. Expect to leave feeling strong, connected and supported.
