Job Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and people-oriented Studio Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our studios, organise studio hire and the day to day communications on our training courses.
The studio is a hireable space for freelance yoga instructors, wellness professionals, and other clients.
The Studio Administrator will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring the studio is clean and fully equipped, managing bookings, and fostering positive relationships with clients. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, a business positive approach, and a passion for yoga and yoga education.
You will work closely with the Director, and the marketing team to ensure the smooth running of the space, the courses and the communication of events.
Requirements
Education
Educated to A-level or higher (or equivalent)
Essential Skills / Experience
Excellent organisational skills.
The ability to manage a diverse workload.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
Able to work as part of a small team but also self motivated.
Excellent IT skills - including emailing, website maintenance (Squarespace), word processing and spreadsheet software.
Competent numeracy skills.
Good writing skills.
Competent spelling, grammar and use of English.
Excellent attention to detail.
Business acumen.
Able to prioritise your own workload and self-motivate
Willingness to be flexible in the work role as befits a small working team.
Desirable Skills / Experience
An understanding of Yoga
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Preferably you’ll have experience of using booking and billing and payment systems.
Knowledge of squarespace websites, windows operating systems.
Experience using Mac computers.
Basic bookkeeping skills.
First Aid certification.

Working Conditions
This job may require occasional weekend, early morning and evening work.
Evening and weekend working is often lone working.
The hours are set, but can be flexible with notice and prior agreement with the Director.
We are a small team and as such some work roles are fluid between team members to allow for holiday cover/ sick leave.
Physical Requirements
The job requires a basic level of physical fitness, you will be expected to lift and move equipment and do basic manual handling.
